Not long after, VTech contacted me to review their new classic white retro phone. This was right up my alley and I was so excited to receive it.
How cool is this phone? The sleek contemporary style with modern day rotary dial is to die for!
I am in love with this phone and I've only owned it for an hour! The shipping on it was very speedy. The pearly white color is beautiful. The unit does come in a few other colors too if you're looking for a little more pizazz. What I love most about the phone is the design. It looks like a modern updated version of those old push button phones from the 80's. The cordless handset and base are very light and extremely thin, which is another favorite feature of mine.
Retro Telephones

The phone I am considering for my kitchen - the VTech's Retro Phone. Switching to one of the real retro phones featured above would be going a bit too far, I think, as it might look out of place in my kitchen. Not to say the inconvenience of using the telephony technologies from the past era. But something like VTech's retro phone seems to have a perfect marriage of vintage look and modern technologies.

The system of LS6475-3 doubles as a multiple-handset walkie-talkie so you do not have to scream through the house to communicate with your family. The Vtech cordless phone has a built in equalizer and extended frequency band, which in turn provides a fuller clearer sound. One of the features I really am fond of is the caller ID. With the caller ID on this phone you can set it to use voice and it will tell you who is calling rather than checking the headset display. In addition, the headset will display name, time, and date of all incoming calls. With just a touch of a button you can turn the headset into a speakerphone as a result, will provide easier communication hands-free.

The VTech LS6475-3 Multitasking Phone System is a two handset cordless phone system with a cordless headset. It also has a built-in answering machine which I love. I must be the only person on the planet who didn’t have an answering machine until now. Mine broke a few years back and I never bothered replacing it, since I am home most of the time. It was like Christmas when I came home the other day and had my first message awaiting!

DS6521-2 Handset Connect To Cell Answering System was fairly easy to install!
Just had to connect the batteries, put the backs on the phones, locate where I wanted to put the phones (they suggest putting the main phone base where you get the best cell reception in the home). Once I located that, so the the phones get the best signal every time we use them...the system becomes very dependable & reliable.
