First Push-To-Talk DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone System
Value-Rich 2010 Lineup Offers Range Over 1,500 Feet and Affordable Multiple-Handset Bundles
BEAVERTON, Ore., January 25, 2010 – VTechª Communications, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of VTech Holdings Ltd. (HKSE: 303; ADR: VTKHY) and the largest U.S. cordless phone manufacturer, today announced its new 2010 lineup with models all priced under $100. Coming to retailers and online in spring 2010, VTech's newest offerings include the industry's first push-to-talk DECT 6.0 system, delivering the fastest, clearest communication possible.
LS6325 Series: Instant Communication for Large Households and Small Offices
VTech's new LS6325 cordless phones feature Push-to-Talk (PTT) functionality, which is ideal for larger households and small office users. A feature previously only offered on walkie-talkies and mobile phones, push-to-talk enables instant voice delivery through the handset speakerphone, eliminating disruptive shouting through the house and adding professionalism and speedier communication to small offices.
The LS6325 delivers talk range up to 1,500 feet, enabling users to roam throughout the house or office without losing calls. For further flexibility, each model in the series is expandable up to five handsets (using the LS6305 accessory handset, sold separately for $19.95).
True to VTech's focus on delivering contemporary, stylistic products that feature the latest technology innovations, the LS6325 incorporates a sleek design with a low-profile handset keypad and metallic silver finishing with high-gloss black detailing. For "hands-free" conversations, the thin, curved handsets include speakerphones and backlit LCDs for easy viewing.
"More consumers are juggling hectic lives that require managing work at home, and everyone needs solutions for faster communications to simply get more things done," said Matt Ramage, senior vice president, product management, VTech Communications, Inc. "The LS6325 series meets the evolving needs of today's fast-paced families and small offices with the latest in home communications – and it's been done with style and affordability."
